In the rarest of circumstances, we met in a cab in front of a Chicago-area hotel. It would be that cab ride that changed our lives. In a 45 minute commute to the airport, we discussed our favorite foods, color, number, books, music, movies, TV shows, and activities.  We shared all of them - French fries and pizza, red, the number 3, reading, going to concerts, singing out loud, The Wizard of Oz, Survivor, biking, running, and sitting on the beach.  

Upon arrival at the airport, we decided to have lunch togetehr and share our love of French fries, with extra ketchup, of course. The similarities between us continued. We realized that it was time to part ways and head to our flights.  Upon landing, we immediately found each other. The day was very serendipitous. 

We quickly became best friends and realized that we were meant to be together.  We blended our families, and now live in a beautiful home, in a lovely community, with plenty of young neighbors. Throuhgout our story, you will meet Allanah and Lauryn, Ike's two daughters, and Barbara, Shannon's mother, who lives with us.

We now want to have a child of our own through adoption.  We hope that you will help us to become parents, and grow our family.
